One-north is a new and bold mixed development, meant to reposition the city as a knowledge economy. The area has plenty of heritage buildings, too. Those with an interest in history will enjoy visiting Rochester Park and Wessex Estate, where many of the black-and-white colonial bungalows that were built for the British military have been restored and turned into high-end restaurants and bars.
