‘Dream a Little Dream of Me’ is an old jazz standard with lyrics by Gus Kahn and music by Fabian Andre and Wilber Schwandt. The song was first recorded in 1930. The song was covered by artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong and others. It also appears on various albums by the duo Ella and Louis.

It was a hit in 1968 when it was sung by Cass Elliot with The Mamas and the Papas and again in 1969 when it was recorded by Anita Harris. Several other artists would record the song over the years, including the Mills Brothers, Sylvie Vartan, Henry Mancini, The Beautiful South, Anne Murray, Erasure and Michael Buble.

The song was also used in the 1991 movie The Lost Valentine. It was featured in the 2011 Hallmark movie Love in Bloom and sung by Bobbi Eakes on an episode of ABC’s All My Children in 2007. During the closing credits of the 2010 Jude Law movie Repo Men, the song is sung by a woman and her daughter. The song was also used in a 2011 episode of the HBO show Farscape.

The song is sung by singer-songwriter Robbie Williams in a duet with Lily Allen for his tenth studio album and second swing album Swings Both Ways (2013). It was released as the album’s second single.
