The Spider Man Costume is the red and blue suit worn by Peter Parker, a superhero who has super strength, speed and agility, the ability to cling to walls, super vision, a sixth sense known as the Spidey Sense, and perfect balance. He is also capable of creating webs at will, allowing him to swing through the air and take down criminals in a single bound. Unlike most heroes, Peter created the Spider Man Costume as a way to use his powers to help others while keeping his true identity secret from the public.

In the MCU, Peter has been seen in many different variations of the Spider Man Costume over the years. During Homecoming, Peter ditched his high-tech suit for something more simple that looked more like the comic book version of the character. This new suit seems to be a clear reference to both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man suits, indicating that Peter has now fully accepted his role as the “regular” guy who can save the day without fancy gadgets.

In the Spider-Man Noir alternate reality, a version of Peter wears a red and black costume that is similar to the Classic Costume. The eye pieces on this costume are bigger and pointed at three ends and the redesigned Spider emblem is larger on the chest area of the costume. This version of the costume appears to be based on Ben Reilly’s Sensational Spider-Man costume and was worn until Otto switched bodies with Peter in Superior Spider-Man #14. This costume reappeared again after a brief appearance by Peter in SS #30 when he switched back into his original body.
